Q: Why Stem Cells?

A: Stem cells play a major role when it comes to healing and maintaining the skin. They release hundreds of proteins and enzymes, anti-inflammatory factors, and exosomes that act as messages to help skin naturally repair itself. As we age, the amount of “messages” that stem cells can send out decreases. Juvenaé™ scientists developed a method that provides those missing exosomes topically and created effective skincare that your skin knows how to use.

Q: What Kind of Stem Cells Does Juvenaé Use? And Why?

A: There are several different types of stem cells, but our products include the most effective type for adult skin. Juvenaé scientists start by using adult adipose stem cells that have been donated from healthy lipoaspirate patients. Adipose-derived stem cells are involved in promoting healing within the body and are capable of turning into all the cell types that make up the skin.

By using and rigorously screening this specific type of stem cell, our products can provide a wide range of beneficial exosomes that support the skin’s natural healing ability and fight against multiple signs of aging.

Q: How Many Stem Cells are in the Skincare Products?

A: There actually aren’t any stem cells in the finished products. Our scientists stimulate the stem cells to send out their beneficial proteins and exosomes so we can harvest those. Because actual stem cells are too large to be absorbed through the skin, our team carefully removes the whole stem cells and leaves only the highly-concentrated exosomes that can benefit your skin the most.

Q: What About Plant Stem Cells?

A: This one is pretty simple. You’re not a plant. While stem cells from plants include a variety of beneficial antioxidants and vitamins that can help your skin, they won’t be able to fully match the receptors in human stem cells that provide all the benefits.

Q: Why Include Other Ingredients?

A: While the stem cell exosomes help promote the skin’s natural ability to heal and fight against signs of aging, we included a selection of vitamins, antioxidants, and peptides to ensure that you get immediate and long term benefits as you continue to use Juvenaé skincare.

Q: Are the Juvenaé Skincare Products All-Natural?

Short answer? Not exactly. We developed stem-cell-based skincare because stem cells are the most natural ingredient to your skin. Your body already uses stem cells every day to help maintain and repair the skin every moment of your life. Juvenaé products blend the most natural active ingredient in the world with a carefully curated group of peptides, mild skin conditioning agents, and additives. This is designed to ensure efficacy for your skin, but also make sure it’s safe on the shelf. Not to get too deep into the chemistry, but if a skincare product is water-based (which most are) then they require assistance through preservatives to prevent unwanted microbes that are attracted to water from growing in them. Four weeks using a truly active natural ingredient will redefine the “natural skincare” category. So are Juvenaé skincare products all-natural? No. Do they promote good skin health based on natural biology? Absolutely!
